Triund Trek Camping Trip 2025 – A Himalayan Escape
Looking for a quick mountain getaway from your busy city life? The Triund Trek near McLeodganj, Himachal Pradesh, is one of the best short treks in India — offering breathtaking views, a peaceful environment, and the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.
Recently, a group of seven friends from Noida decided to take a break from their corporate routine at My Web Click. After months of working late hours and meeting deadlines, they finally took a week’s leave and boarded a Volvo bus from Delhi to Dharamshala. Their excitement was unmatched — mountains, freedom, and fresh air awaited!
Stay at Hostel Thrillomania
Their base camp was Hostel Thrillomania, run by the kind and helpful Rajesh Ji, offering dorm stays at just ₹300 per bed. The hostel staff helped them plan their trek, arranged camping gear, and even provided a local guide for a safe and memorable experience.
Day 1 – Trek to Triund (2875m)
The group began their trek from Bhagsu Nag around 9 AM. Walking through oak and rhododendron forests, they stopped at Magic View Café for tea before reaching Triund top by afternoon. The meadow offered panoramic views of the Dhauladhar range and Kangra Valley. They enjoyed a cozy bonfire night, music, and stargazing before resting in mountain tents.
Day 2 – Return to Bhagsu Nag
After witnessing a magical sunrise, they trekked down via Lahesh Cave and Bhagsu Waterfall, returning to McLeodganj by afternoon — tired but thrilled.
